Thanks for your reply.
Sounds like an interesting stock. Should be interesting to see how the US stock does in comparison with the local and world shares.
So far it has been strong. I bought at IPO at $15.75, it traded today between $16 and $16.32

It appears that Yanzhou Coal is starting its move. It is up to
$16.63 now and shows signs that it might continue it move upwards.
Target by several of the underwriting firms was $25.00 short-term, $40.00 long-term.

Does anybody have asset value of this company ? The IPO gave them $256 million in cash (minus fees), and the market value of this company is approaching that ! Does this company owe a lot of debt ? Anybody know their true asset value (balance sheet) please post here. Even older data will be helpful. Unless they owe a lot of debt, this stock looks like a stealing buy @ $6 1/2.

Understand they export 1/3 of their coals to Japan. Even with Japanese economy down, they still have to buy coals, at the same price measured in Japanese Yen. Assuming Yen devalued 50%, they only lose 1/6 of total revenue. I would assume their domestic sales should just do fine with China's economy still growing at a healthy but slowed pace. Would they be able to make even with that 1/6 drop of revenue ? Anybody has the last year's sales and profit information please also post here.

All are appreciated.

I like YZC very much. I got their very well-done annual report. One of the best I ever got from Chinese ADR companies. China is one of the largest natural resource country with coal resource ranking top in the world. They export coal to Japan that economy is in the recovering. This stock which still traded deep discount comparing to the one in shanghai exchange(#600188).I believe YZC has the potential to reach 40.
