I asked my broker when the stock splits and he said that it would on 4/7. Was he wrong? I thought that it was to be on 4/2.

Freeus, thanks for the info. Here's Briefing.com's definition: >>Ex-Date is the date that the stock price is scheduled to adjust on the respective exchange.<<

It shows LU "payable" on 4/01 with "Ex-date" on 4/02

So I'm anticipating the based on the end of day tomorrow is what the stock splits at.

T is the most widely held stock on NYSE which explains why LU is second, due to spinoff. This data may be questionable because many long time T holders may have the stock in their name vs. Street name.
