To be fair, etrade improved alot recently. However, comparing to datek, etrade is still alot slower in transaction. I put a order for GE at market price when the quote was 84 1/8 before 10:00 am on Oct. 30 and only got a message after 10:33 am said the order filled with at 84 7/16. This is not the first time I got messed up. Last time they give me 10 times free trade. Whatever they do this time I decided to move all my stocks to datek. Enjoy with etrade if you never got messed up and good luck.
