According to an article in the LA Times, it's because he has a sizeable investment in it himself, or at least has some association with a group that's heavily invested.

I don't know what Lee's current holdings are (and am too lazy to look at the proxy) but I do know that Lee was a buyer of the discounted converts last year. Nothing like a board member (and now interim Chair) making a guaranteed return at the expense of the other shareholders. If it ever trades above $5 I'll probably short the "Roo" out of it. ;-)

FWIW, shorted BOST again last week @ $5.50....shorting chicken outfits has been bery, bery good to me.

PS to those of you following EA: Filed an 8-K yesterday. They couldn't get a quorum for their Special Shareholders meeting so the vote on the convertibility of the ex-Chair's shares has been postponed unitl April 14th. Stay tuned.....
