Congratulations, Joe! Will your name live on at E. 53rd St. under the new management? Maybe someday there will be an IPO for a whole chain of "Tokyo Joe"s" Hope that you will stay at this new level long enough to make us all a little wealthier, before you move up to yet a higher level of living. Rough figures and all in 1Q98, I've had 100% appreciation. Bag-per-quarter will do just fine, Joe (:->). Of course, Rentech story not fully resolved yet and could really blow my portfolio up. Over the years I have grown really attached to many employees who have worked for me. My assistant of 7 years, who I brought through all the learning experiences, just got the big promotion to one of our other properties. I shall miss her (from a personal standpoint as well as professional) beyond imagining. It thus occurred to me that that's the real reason I still keep the job. Such people are what you ultimately remember about a career. Wish I could reward her the way you rewarded your Maria.
