John, This is one Roth IRA wrinkle I hadn't heard. Any URL pointers or other references that discuss the various restrictions on on withdrawls in more depth? Thanks, Dave PS--I converted my wife's and mine in January. One took about 7 days, and I'm STILL waiting on the other one. They finally asked for new paperwork in mid-March, and despite getting it March 18, the assets have not yet been rolled over, due (they say) to the busy season. Glad you had a hassle-free experience.
