To All: A little information from the trenches today that might be interesting to some. I had my monthly visit from the Pfizer rep today. Of course, she was very upbeat about the FDA approval of Viagra, and said I would have samples and the pharmacies would be receiving Viagra in two weeks. The interesting thing was that she let me read part of Pfizer's marketing plan. It said very clearly that they expect most of their competition in the near future to come from Zonagen's Vasomax. I told her about the controversy surrounding this company and its product, and she said that Pfizer was taking the company and its product very seriously. Brad

It's quite obvious that any rational argument as to why Vasomax will not be approved by the FDA can only be met with the child like rantings of a lunatic. Perhaps one of the MD's here can recommend a psychologist that can prescribe the appropriate medications for you. I hear Serzone will help treat schizophrenia as well as depression. Maybe you should consider it. As for Viagra and Vasomax, here are some irrefutable facts: Fact 1- Viagra has been approved by the FDA and has been proven to help 70% of ED patients. Fact 2- Vasomax has not been filed as an NDA yet. Fact 3- Vasomax has a claimed efficacy rate of between 35% and 62% depending on how you process the placebo data. Your words. Not mine. Fact 4- The FDA now has a gold standard for the treatment of ED via oral medication. It is called Viagra and will serve as the bench mark by which all future NDA's for ED will be compared. They will not approve alternative oral medications for ED unless they are shown to be superior to Viagra in efficacy. Fact 5- Vasomax is not as effect as Viagra in treating ED. See facts 1 and 3. Conclusion- Vasomax stands NO chance for FDA approval. This is and has been my only premise for concluding that ZONA is a short. Now rant and carry on if you must but you'll only make a bigger ass of yourself than you already have. You can't disprove any of the above facts. Hank
