Oh, sending the family on a 3 week cruise--I don't think so.

Now that she's in the nursing home, and I'm assuming that she's not expected to leave, she has to be very careful how she spends that money. When I put my dad in, I had to fill in all current financial info and the assets were to go to his care. But that was in Virginia.

i wish it were true but the lawyer we spoke with said NO WAY......all the money is locked up as long as she stays in the nursing home.....this is in OHIO......they check EVERY bit of background

please do explain how its possible to have her spend her money???

any tips greatly appreciated
