I know I came across rather aggressive, but the expectation of newbies to this market is very high,so they tend to brush off any warnings that are given to them. It is difficult to give warnings that will be taken seriously given the performance of this bull market, even including the gains made this year. But I rather be this way, and if I am fortunate plant the seed of doubt in their thinking which may lead to helping them realize early on that the stock market is not "profits waiting for them". This may prevent the newbie taking their hard earned $200,000, throw it into the stock market, and see it disappear. Now if I was wrong in interpeting the significance of this person's interest in the market, well then, at least my statement should come across loud and clear. Like I said in the previous post, nothing personal was meant. But I had a very important message I wanted to clearly communicate, a message many newbies simply would not want to listen to. I want to say again that there are many people available at SI including those who post to this thread that I believe would be willing to help him along in what will turn out to be a significant learning curve for him. So I do want to encourage him and other newbies keep asking questions. Bob Graham

Hi David Well AINN turned out real nice as I just managed to ride in a position on friday at a better price. I guess I'm just curious now as to what the chances are that we'll blast right through 8 1/8? I saw Doug's projections but I am wondering what your opinion is in the short term. Also wondering what APCO has up its sleeve? Are we filling a gap? Again I'm just curious about short term. I saw Doug's target of 18. Does he mean by the end of the year? Thanks, you're a real cowboy friend.
