JIN, I could not agree with you more. ATXI's latest news says loud and clear (in the context of the other recent news) that the takeover is pretty much done. Their latest news appears to be about saving face not contesting. They are grabbing at the only straw they have 'show the financials'. Unfortunately for them (Reidel & otehr guy) it makes no difference. Put yourselves in their shoes. After news denying FAMH takeover they can't just roll over. These guys have egos. I don't see how the opening bid can go down. Then again, I am not the shiniest penny in the pond.

Jin: But in anytime. You know I always enjoy hearing from you. From my prospective, ATXI sees that Ira is playing hardball. They realize that if they don't agree to something, they will get nothing. (The board of directors I am talking about.) I don't think that they are down on their collective knees licking his boots yet but I think it is heading in that direction.

To answer the other part of your question about the psychological perspective, I would say that Freud and Jung would postulate that Ira reminds the ATXI board of their mothers and that they fear him and want to be loved by him all at the same time. This is all a completely unconscious process of course!
