Paul, an earlier version of LTK used separately triggered laser beams instead of 8 SIMULTANEOUS beams. The approach using non-simultaneous beams did cause distortions in the eye. However, that problem was solved with the introduction of the simultaneous protocol.

In the end, being able to treat astigmatism will probably be the mother-lode for SNRS.
