Jenna: One additional piece of information to factor in about Pier 1 (PIR): the company announces monthly sales from the previous month on the first or second Thursday of every month (usually the first). These announcements have been consistently bullish for over a year, accompanied by strong statements about future growth. The announcement usually causes a jump in the stock price and this month it will precede the official earnings announcement. I don't know whether the statement will be issued tomorrow or April 9th.
