Gary!

It is great to see your post! I hope all goes well for you and your family. I wish, as do most of the ASND "threadians", you the best of luck in all of your endeavors. We sure miss your good comments. Yours is the voice of reason, that guides a lot of us into making better investment decisions. I hope you benefit from the rest of us as much as we have all benefited from your posts.

After all, it's not every day you get to be a "God."

As for your caution, it is well heeded. But I thing the Roth IRA money will not be enough to significantly influence the market, because it is limited to people with incomes less than $150,000.

As for tax payments, I think a lot of the dow losses, and overall market losses for the last few days can be explained by the need for individuals to pay their federal income taxes.

IMO ASND is on an emotional ride. With it lying there for so long, as the perfect undervalued stock - given the value of ASNDs primary competitors - it has finally moved into the spotlight. I've been in and out several times over the last few days (thinking it was about to retreat), and I think today proved that we will move to 40 before retreating to 35. I bought back in during todays dip around 3:20. It has already gone back up 3/4 of a point, and tomorrow looks bright. The rumors of take over have slowly started getting louder and louder, like a band approaching during a parade. I hope the band is coming down the street that I am standing on, and not a block away....

Gary K., money inflow slowdowns pre-April 15th are well documented and are offset by people investing their refunds post April 15th. Short term speculation based on this seems futile.

As for the Roth IRA, money will flow into this vehicle all year long for the 98 tax year, leading to a higher than normal "IRA" related inflow. However, I suspect that alot of this money will be transfers from traditional to the Roth, resulting in tax implications, and hence, offsetting any net positive inflows.

In other words, isn't all this pretty much a wash?
