Better question: why aren't shareholders demanding it? This is where having a true executive in the CFO position becomes important. Right now, you have an incompetent CEO extending his incompetence in every direction. He is unfocused, financially irresponsible and delusional. That's a rational observation, not an arbitrary flame. He thinks he's running an international software power house but what he's got is a washed-up 120 million dollar speck of dirt. He's a blamer: he blames Sun Microsystems, he blames Microsoft, everybody but himself. Unless they come up with a plan to remove Cowpland or a restructuring plan to reduce costs, regardless of what revenues are, they will have no respect from investors and they will deserve none.
