Wednesday April 1, 7:31 am Eastern Time Company Press Release SOURCE: CYTOGEN Corporation CYTOGEN Reports Year-End Audit PRINCETON, N.J., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CYTOGEN Corporation (Nasdaq: CYTO - news) reported today that the report of its independent public accountants filed with the Annual Report included an explanatory paragraph based on the auditor's views that the company's cash on hand was not adequate fully to sustain operations at current levels for a one year period. The company noted that although it expected to require additional financing during the year, the requirement for cash is not imminent. Management stated that it believed that, if necessary, any projected cash shortfalls could be managed through deferral or elimination of expenses during the year. The company also stated that it is reviewing a number of financing options and would consider transactions most favorable to the company and its stockholders, although no assurance can be given to the availability of such funds.
