Don't get confused though. As far as my understanding goes: Even if a day has a + change it can still have a black/down day. As far as I know, Change is based on the difference between today's closing pricing vs. Yesterday's closing price, BUT Candlesticks are created on the Open, High, Low, and Close for the current day.

So, if a stock closed yesterday at 10, but opens today at 11 and closes today at 10.5, then the change would be .5, but the Candlestick would show a black day since the close is actually -.5 from the open.

Someone please let me know if I'm wrong.
