Russel what is the name of the penny stock you are talking about?

I bet on penny stocks based on a great deal of due diligence. It seems to me that you are looking for a value investment?

You are going to have to wait about a year if you want to see value in ABMI instead of potential. I warn you though it's my opinion that if you pull money out of ABMI because you fail to see the value in this investment you will miss a heck of a nice ride up.

I really would like the name of your other stock.

Thanks, Jeff

Russell and others
There can be so much stuff that can be speculated i.e.
1. A rumour floating that they will be bought out. Then if the deal is a fair one the stock valuation would be well over $3. There are many reasons for that : Patents are worthless if there is no market available for sales of the products. Now a company which will look to buy another company is definitely got a market for that line or they would like to diversify their business. Lets say a major firm like Arterial vascular, Boston Scientific etc etc etc want to buy up another smaller company like ABMI. They are in the business already and the advantages are:

a. They will have more patents , FDA approvals, and broader customer base under their belts and feel more comfortable for their long term future.
b. They would be in a different market segment of Silicone based products versus latex ones and will have the option of offering their customers both kinds of technology.
c. They would have the same group of researchers continuing development of the same line of products at a faster pace as a bigger company can have broader clinical trials and more case studies done in a shorter time frame.
d. They would retain the manufacturing units and probably get rid of all dead wood and keep all key players in so that segment of customers are oblivious to changes in the company structure.

150 million would be pocket change for a larger company in this business and assuming a 20 million shares of float the price would be well over $3 as the buyout will involve clearing other debt etc,. first. Also there may be other issues which we cannot think of at this point in time which would lower the buyout price. The best deal for stock holders is if a stock swap happens.
But this is speculation: Read these posts by Jeffrey
2. The probabilty of revenues increasing ( I cannot comment how many folds) is a possibility i entertain more. Also there may be other issues which we cannot think of at this point in time which would lower the buyout price. The best deal for stock holders is if a stock swap happens.

Like i said in a previous post all the necessary steps are in the right direction to enhance the company image and become a profitable company are in place. The 1st quarter revenue targets for January have been exceeded and that gives a motive for management to better up revenues for the future quarters.
The OEM business was not in the cards before and now they have agreements for distribution of ABMI products all over the Northern America in addition to the other markets they had already signed up for. We have to see if this helps the company in revenues in the future quarters. Also selection of a strategic partner to market/continue research with ABMI is crucial which can easily catapult this stock to over a dollar.
BTW: There is a lot more to OEM than the one liner you put skeeter. A classic example is where i work. Its hard to keep up with the right procedures orgainized and we have been trying to achieve that status ourselves. It not easy to get it by bribing a third party is all i can say at the same time it aint half as difficult as getting a FDA approval.
The stock today is extremely stable and my gut feeling is buying is going to increase over the next few weeks.

Regards

Sri.
