Consortium pays R$1.5bn for B band concession

Sao Paulo, 01 - Consortium Algar won yesterday the concession to exploit the B band cellular telephone service in area 3 (covering the states of Rio de Janeiro and Esp¡rito Santo). The Minas Gerais-based group, formed by ABC Algar, building contractor Queiroz Galvao and operator Korea Mobile Telecom, offered R$1.508bn for the concession, 201% over the minimum price fixed at R$500m. The consortium intends to qualify 400,000 cellular phones by December. (O Estado de S. Paulo/

Hi Mayer, thanks for the posts. I'm getting one of those feelings again that TBR is about to make a big move...I would hope to the upside. I think it's getting tired of this low 130 range.
