Sun, IBM to co-develop Java operating system

biz.yahoo.com

International Business Machines Corp. (IBM - news) and Sun
Microsystems Inc. (SUNW -news) will announce on Wednesday that they
will jointly develop a computer operating system based on Sun's Java
programming environment.

I'm not sure I understand this. Is this a continuation of the JavaOS
which is used in the Javastation today or something brand new?

Was the Chorus operating system they acquired used for the Javastation
or are JavaOS and ChorusOS two seperate entities?
