I would suggest you not try to attach labels to me . I am attempting to present another view . It does not have to be my personal view. However, since the income tax system has been based upon a progressive tax rate system (ie. tax rate increase with income increase) versus a sales tax system which taxes everyone at the same rate on consumption (the less rich pay a higher proportion of their income on the sales tax). These are not new ideas and are not bogus as you state. They are basic differences between 2 systems of taxation. ps. no one that knows me would ever consider me a liberal.
