Orbcomm Users Conference

As we speak Orbcomm is hosting a conference in Virginia for potential users. The interesting agenda can be read at

orbcomm.com

Should be some press out of this. Note particularly the Panasonic session. This is one of the many big volume potentials.

Re: TRACE

Mohan,

I just read the following on Florida Today (Space Online).
It seems that the (early stages of the) launch was a success.

Update for 9:52 p.m. EST

An Orbital Sciences Pegasus XL rocket tonight successfully launched
NASA's Transition Region and Coronal Explorer, or TRACE. The
air-launched booster was released from the belly of an L-1011 carrier
jet at 9:42 p.m. EST (0242 GMT) off the coast of California. Aircraft
departure from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., occurred at about
8:45 p.m. EST. The spacecraft is to spend at least a year studying
the Sun's outer atmosphere.
