SOF -- slightly off topic...

CSMA is my first KNOWN bb stock, too. (Now, who would've thought that a broker would sell a client a stock over the phone w/o telling them that it was a bb? Hey, it happens. Live and learn.)

It's still the bb I'm happiest with, because my others include such doubtful choices as CSGC (formerly ACCY) and BAAT. Was up about $1500 in one week on both, got greedy and didn't pull the trigger. Now read 'em and weep! And did I forget MDMI and TVSI? Compared to those pitiful puppies, CSMA still looks like a runaway winner. Got in and out of MCIK. Something might still happen with the latter, but it's hard to say.

Thankfully, my big stocks are keeping the last year from being a complete write-off. ETEC was back up to $60 today. I got in at $31 and if you think I wish I had more than the 200 shares I do, you'd be pretty close to right. Southwest Airlines (LUV) is the one really saving my behind. I got in last year at 22 3/8 and today it's almost back up to 30 -- after a 3 for 2 split. You gotta love splits when they're in the right direction!

Big "winner" was SCTR, which I got in at 8 1/2 about a year ago. This morning it was at 34. Unfortunately, I was long gone. Got a little back at 25. I think this one still has a chance to be a 50 or 60-dollar stock before year's end -- I just can't afford it!

And the SCTR thread shows you how funny threads can be. The stock was running from 13 to 34 and hardly anyone was posting on it. Guess they were too busy counting their money.

So here's to the day when this thread dries up for a couple of months -- because we'll all be so busy spending our "ill-gotten" gains that we won't have any time to post!

If you missed the big run-up on KKRO, today might be the day to get in. Happy hunting, everyone.

Later!
