Off-topic: Who decides what posts get deleted? I've noticed occasional renumbering of posts. I presume that this means someone deletes an offensive or misleading post, which results in subsequent posts getting renumbered. Is my understanding correct? If so, does this screw up URLs to SI posts that we might cut and paste elsewhere? What criteria are used for deletion. For example, post 40,000 seems to have changed, which hardly seems fair to the winner. Any input would be appreciated
