From multimedia wire:

<<Electronic Arts [ERTS] topped the list of entertainment software
companies by generating $848m in revenue during 1997, according to
analyst firm Access Media International. Two console makers were
second and third in the software sales rankings, Nintendo $834m and
Sony Computer Entertainment $801m, quadrupling what it did last year.
The rest of Access Media's figures: GT Interactive [GTIS] $531m;>>

I don't know how ERTS's market cap or # of outstanding shares compare to GT, but just looking at revenue and stock price is pretty depressing.
