FWIW, I have noticed that the price of old, used Sun workstations (like the IPC, which has about the processing power of an Intel 486/50) has jumped in the last month (from around $50 for a base system a month ago to a current price of about $100). I wonder if that fact (if my perception is correct) is related to their use as trade-ins on new Darwins (I have heard Sun is giving a fairly good allowance for them, and will also sell the Darwin without a monitor on a trade-in, which can save $$$)?

JMHO, of course.

It really has to be seen to be believed huh ?

** Superb company reputation.
** New Cheap priced Ultra 5 workstation is a great buy.
** Arguably Best version of Unix, Solaris V2.x on the market, in
use EVERYWHERE at my place of employment.

Hell I am buying myself for work, 3x Small servers and 12x
UltraSparcs 5.... and that's just little old me !!
** Server business like the StarFires very good, and looking better
** Industry Alliances
** Java --> IF it ever contributes to revenue.

Finally, Strong Buy by JUST about every analyst on the street, and still stuck in the low 40's.

Enough to start drinking, heavily, as a reaction to it.

What do you say Addi ??

Take care
Jean

Paul, get the certificates, put them in a drawer, forget about them. I here that cliche voiced often but this here stock is one where it actually means something. Accumulate regardless of the price: up or down.
