HerbVic, I agree about the lack of excess inventory. Since I spilled too many glasses of water on my 8100/80AV (used it as a table and figured it would just dry up on its own, and instead it corroded the motherboard), I was shopping for a top-of-the-line G3 yesterday and today. A lot of places don't have the G3 300 mHz tower in stock and those that do, have a fixed configuration. Only the store will offer to put certain things in it, and they probably have a backlog, since it will take them 2 weeks to build my custom machine and a week shipping. Think I should wait for the 375mHz. What do you think? Happy APPL blossom Spring. Linda
