Terry,

AMAT may or may not warn but their chances of making $.38 this qtr (per zacks last week) is slim to none. So far, pre warn is a blessing so it may not matter at all.

Japan is very interesting now. I tried to post in a few Asian/Japan forums but find little information. In a nut shell, with the big bang, there could be a lot of funds from Japanese savings to other parts of the world. It may be a boost to the US equities market if they start investing in US mutual funds. However, yen outflow could kill the already weak Japanese financial market, which will for all practical purposes shut off funds for any cap improvements.

Any opinions?

Ramsey
