-OFF TOPIC- For MGR investors: Pete Schueler has made an excellent suggestion on the MGR thread for helping to push along a resolution of the MGR/MAC dispute. Basically, he suggests that we FAX/e-mail the Mongolian Gov't. department that assigned its mining rights to MAC, and indicate that the dispute is widely known in other parts of the world and may affect future mining concerns in Mongolia if not settled. I hope that Dave Webb, President of MGR, agrees with the approach and provides the department name, address, e-mail, FAX so that it can proceed. Since MGR isn't getting very far with MAC, the Mongolian Gov't. might put on some pressure.

Hi Bill, That's great! Have you got a tape recorder that could pick up their speeches in their entirety? You could regale us for weeks with excerpts. Wouldn't that be great? Some pretty heavy hitters. This is probably the biggest gathering of the who's who, I've ever seen.

Sounds like there ought to be lots of information and opinions. It'll probably be pretty windy in Hogtown with all that hot air! Sort of like a chinook. Let's hope, like the chinooks that bring warm winds to the prairies, they bring a warm glow to battle-hardened gold and silverbugs.

I tried bated breath with PFG, but I turned purple. You'll find out what it is baited with if you don't bring back a great report.:-) As far as feelion goes, you know what they say "Curiosity killed the cat!"

Many thanks, Bill, You do us all a great service. I think they should have had the conference out west, because that's where most of the gold stocks start out, but I guess they figure the bagmen are in the East. You know the VSE, worts and all, is still known as the venture capital. If it sounds like sour grapes, it's just because I'm jealous that's all.:-)

Cheers

Shirley
