Eric, the FBN EZ-Sounder product works much like the barcode system in your grocery store. The watch is the scanning device. The web site produces the data. It's as simple as that.

Wow, that is really interesting, but I don't follow you. What exactly is the problem? MAybe I am just not technical enough to understand what you are saying. Could you restate what you said?

Eric, regarding monitors. I haven't seen their product, but it's probably some marketing slight-of-hand. You could modify a touch-screen sensor to pick up the signals but you'd need special technology, not just an off-the-shelf touchscreen. You probably have to buy FBN Monitor 2000 or something like that.

You can update the watch by "aim your FBN EZSounderT watch at the picture on this page and press the 'update' button!" Call me stupid, but there is no way to send information through a monitor.

Far be it for me to take you up on that offer, but my little girl got a "Computer Geek Barbie" for Christmas, and that is exactly what you do. You put Barbie and her "magic necklace" right up against the monitor to update her on board conversation module.

Perhaps there are others out there that may not be so charitable as I.

Good Luck.

Au contrair! Haven't you heard of the Timex DataLink watch!!!

timex.com

Sounds like FBN simply enhanced the Timex DataLink technology.

Eric,

Are you not familiar witht the term TEMPEST?? Electromagnetic radiations are given off by your computer monitor all the time and with proper receivers, can actually be recorded and replicated on another monitor remote from your location.

I believe this is what FBN has been able to minaturize and include in their EZsounder.

I see them giving FOSSIL quite a run for their money in what will surely become a rave fashion craze..

"Oh so you think you watch is so special, look what mine can do!!!"

Regards,

Ron
