You're mostly right, Crane, but I do think Kaiser may have had the motive of severing/dampening Frank's source(s) so as to narrow down the competition. Obviously the attention JK's drawn to it will serve to throw cold water on anyone willing to offer such info. But there have been some very clear-thinking, open-minded posts in response to this here on SI! Great! More proof of the value of this medium!
