Next generation Crays are based around IRIX/MIPS i.e.
they are the next generation of Origins. That is
commoditized by Cray standards :-)

I doubt that many defence contractors would want Cray -
not part of their core businesses etc, etc.
Look at sell-offs of some business units over the past
few years by Lockheed-Martin and General-Dynamics.
