Wait a minute...this is April Fool's Day. OK, I get it. This market run up is just a gag, right?!! RIGHT??!!!

Let's run down the list of things that don't matter anymore:

1. Valuations
2. PE Ratios
3. Earnings Warnings
4. Lower Profit Margins
5. Weaker Exports
6. Competition
7. Sanity

Am I missing anything. I sure there's more. Don't be afraid to chime in. We're in a brave new world. Rod? Rod Serling? Are you there?

Ian,

I don't know about the rest but look at some of the other companies. TDFX is a good company but is in for a lot of competition in their core business this year. Also, I don't do technical analyst but the chart looks weak to me (volume drying up). AOL is just plain overpriced. These are "strong buys"?

AMAT doesn't belong with these others. This announcement and Robert Stephens looks like a pair of crocks.
