Baird, did you notice how NBR has corrected the most from the recent high and is still depressed while its peers have moved up? I think it fits to be the switch candidate. I just bought it.

For those seeking maximum profit, continue to trade. The trick is to stay ahead of the curve. Sell when everyone is buying and buy when everyone is selling. Need to be very disciplined to do this. I sold all but PTEN last week. Sold PTEN too on Monday at 12 3/4. Bought back PTEN today at 11 1/2. Now it is back to 12 3/4. Put in an order to sell again at 12 3/4. If one follows the switch model, one can maximize profit.

I'm most impressed with today's action. No doubt it has got to do with today being the April fools day and many fund managers are beginning to place bets that this quarter will be a winning quarter for the drillers. Oil is down by the way and I don't recall such a big decoupling between crude and OSX since January. This is good. If all drillers hold on their current levels 1/2 hour before close today, one has to be in, at least take up some positions.
