Big Bucks,>Anyone get the feeling that this is a short squeeze in technology stocks??? No real positive news but big equipment makers are all up!<

How many times have we seen this sort of thing in the past two years?
AMAT runs down on good news but up on bad news! It, IMO, is just how the analyst what to look at the data and how far out front they are looking. Remember, when the BTB's were up tremendously from year to current year when comparing the monthly numbers. So what did they do they looked at the previous month to justify a price movement down. The comparison was only off 1 from the previous month.

IMO, with the SEMI's we can come close to projecting what the analyst are going to do to justify their selling but do not depend upon it.

Lester E had the best approach when he says, ". . .I know nothing about stock manipulations or how other markets affect us. All I know is that AMAT is a great company in an industry that is still in its infancy and is bound to grow over the years. I just hold and hold and see the net worth of the stock increase every year in good times and bad. About every two years or so the stock splits, decreasing my cost basis and at the end of the year my stock is worth more than it was last year. I have followed this stock for 30 years and this scenario goes on with just a few exceptions. This plan works for me so I continue to hold. I'm no rocket scientist, just a retired judge who thinks he is playing a safe game."

I believe these are similar word spoken by Warren Buffet.

Just my opinion.

PS the Bull percentages I was told by phone will not be out until 6:00
pm this evening from DW. DS stated Chartcraft was late getting them to them.
