<< I guess we will have to wait a Q or two for AOL to miss its earnings; until that time the mania will go on >>

Maybe they won't miss. They might use some more of that creative accounting.

Those who are still heavily shorting YHOO!, AMZN, and AOL really deserve a purple heart. Geese, this is even easier than cake walk for the longs.

Amen for the shorts.

M. Here's an example of a Robbie Stephens call (I was long Nokia at the time).
<<Dec 10, 1997 (Reuters) - Robertson Stephens analyst Tony Robertson cut his rating for Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia Group (NOKSa.HE) Wednesday to market underperformer from market performer, a spokesman for the firm said.>>
*****************
Meanwhile the stock had just fallen from 103 to 70, when they downgraded to the very rare "Underperform". Since then it hit 65, and has come back in 3 1/2 months today @ 110, or 57% higher. BTW they recently reiterated their underperform. That is the extreme form of arrogance, especially since they're growing earnings @ 35%, and still trade at a P/E in the mid 20s!!!
