This TRII class-action suit is a good lesson to learn. Base company publicity on fact and avoid excess hype to run up stock price. Let the good news be known by exact releases and let the quarterly earnings speak for themselves. Stay practical and avoid future problems (i.e., class actions, etc.). Truth always serves much better the fiction. Thus, I am not concerned by the lack of company hype, only be the lack of genuine publicity based on products, order flow, etc., that would alert more investors and institutional managers to the fine potential for CYI as the year progresses. As discussed previously by others, first we need to reach the magic $5 limit and that is going to take perhaps a 1/2 year. Once the earnings start to show black figures, things will begin to happen imo. In the meantime, more big orders will not hurt one bit and may get us up to the 5 level sooner. Sure wish IBD would "discover" CYI and make it a New America subject.

Bullseye. I too emailed Stern & Co some time ago pointing out to them that their web site had CYI listed on NYSE and not AMEX and that they should correct it. The basis of this is of course that if a professional stock promoter/consultant can't get it right then it reflects poorly on their client. I too never heard back so I guess they either aren't awake or interested.

This class action in TRII has been put together so rapidly it makes you wonder if some short-sellers are at work. The last time I came across one of these the short-sellers settled out of court for more stock in the target company and when it took off they made even more money after their short-seller profits. Short-selling should be banned. Not only does it destroy long term investment but how you can sell something you don't own just doesn't make sense.

It's still okay to hype a stock but you have to at least do your books right and of course be on the look out for short-sellers (which makes AMEX a safer haven than NASDAQ).
