Microsoft has an option to purchase 20% of this company. I'm going to be holding long on this one regardless of run ups. Got out of some shares Friday and jumped back in more today. I do not know the specifics but apparently microsoft is paying royalties for use of real networks code in some of their products IE4 & Netshow. President of REAL is ex-microsoft millionaire and company based in seattle. Microsoft ready for next OS assault WINDOWS 98 and looks like its letting REAL along for the ride. Target price who knows but they seem to be positioned so well across all operating systems and used by all major players.
