Depends on the time frame of course. Over the next year I anticipate that all oil markets will be higher. The retail price of gas is about the lowest ever. Now is definitely the time to be buying from a historical perspective. Of course it is always possible to pay too much for any stock at any time, but both the owners of oil (ARC,CHV,TX etc.) and the Drillers ought to do well over the next year or two considering the base they have made here. If you are talking about day trading, you are talking about the herd mentality, and about squiggles on charts that reflect the herd mentality. Don't believe that this type of trading is reasonably predictable. But on this thread I am in the minority with this view. I have been gradually buying ESV, FLC and RDC as well as CHV over the past six weeks. Currently, therefore, I am showing reasonable profits overall. Hope it keeps going.
