Hmmm.. so maybe this is the answer to the question I've had so long
about why it goes up at the end of the day... since they have to fill
all market orders prior to the close maybe they have a bunch of unfilled
orders outstanding and they are waiting to try and match them better
with selling so they hold them till the last half hour or so and then
push them through when they can't wait any more. I always figured it
was just people getting a position for the open, but maybe it's partly
this as well. Anyone with insight? If this is true we should see a
nice run up before market close.

Jake, if that is truly the case, then it only goes to confirm the hypothesis that this exchange truly sucks. It would seem to me, since on the NASDAQ exchange the best bids and asks have to be publicly shown, that this kind of retail demand would increase the price dramatically. My own guess is that the MM's are trying to either accumulate or cover their short positions.

I think that it is absolutely ridiculous. There are long gaps in time where no trades are registered, and with a backlog? I hate the games on this exchange. If the merger happens, then we won't have to put up with this stuff. Also, it will be much cheaper than going for an initial listing.

Something else that someone posted that was interesting to me. Their is an interesting synergy between these two companies regardless of what briefing.com's too brief DD summary was, and this is it IMO:
Firamada's business of temp staffing and placements would seem to give an automatic step in the door for Atrix's business, or at least key contacts within their clients' organization. Knowing how big some of FAMH's clients are, this may be an additional enticement for the copy machines I mean, certainly not the vacuums :-).

Jin.
