FWIW,got a tip on TALK.I bought TALK today, when my broker stated
that from a source that has been highly accurate in the past stated
that TALK will be taken over at 30 dollars a share on April,10th.
We went for it,as the stock is a safe stock and we will not get burned
if the deal does not come to pass.
Also,so my winners and losers be documented,I made an agressive buy
on DBCC today at 5&3/4 with the intention of holding a month.
My ABIIs at last look were doing nothing noteworthy today, and will
evalute on a daily basis.
I now am going over to the TALK thread and pass this on.max90

APCO believes that their product would not be hurt by a slowdown in car sales. Car salesman need to supplement their income when cars are not moving out of the lot and would naturally be more persistant about selling other products such as car warranties.

APCO's piece of the pie is also something to concider. Their slice right now being small enough that they can continue to grow at the same rate (30%+) even in an a slow market for the automobile industry.

In answer to your question, no. Haven't heard anything about used car sales numbers.
