VOCLF has been in the doldrums for some time, but its major 200-day support is still solid ground at 18 3/4. Though I can't explain the stock's lassitude of late, this looks like a good place to buy. CKFR has languished in like manner until today. I'm looking for VOCLF to take a step backward for a running start. Otherwise all I can figure is that VocalTec is being viewed first as a telecom play and only second as an Internet stock. From the PaineWebber Internet conference in which a VocalTec exec spoke, I gather that's how the company sees itself. But from what I heard, VOCLF is involved in many phases of both telecom and the Internet, with front- and back-end software businesses. It sounds as if the company is making money. I'm still inclined to think the stock will soon follow.

Don, Doug, Ben, and thread: Thanks for your informative responses. This kind of discussion can only make us better informed, and (hopefully) more successful investors. IMHO you can't get this anywhere else. Yea SI. Regards to all, Dave
