I normally don't post to SI only because I don't like the way people bash others on these boards. This is a stock that I bought a few months ago. Lost a little and got out but I still have it book marked. I hate to see people loss money on stocks so I feel the need to say something ( I'm no saint, I'll sell into a buying spree and take your money like the rest of them.)
Once they publicly say the they will be cancelling the shares of a stock you better believe that it will happen. You will be left holding a worthless piece of paper to put on your wall if your so inclined to call your broker and have it sent to you. I know this only because I have a couple of them sitting on my wall now....
The MM's that hold this stock are only trying to get out of it. They will move it up to sell to the unsuspecting and uninformed "investor" it's a suckers bet..
Sorry that it's happening,
And good luck to those that feel the need to hold it...

Bruin,

I unfortunately purchased this stock while still under the CDS symbol before bankruptcy in June 97. I've cost averaged down and sold the majority last month at a small gain right before the nice run (just missed by a day - that's life) But dumped the remaining 2k today at $0.20 and took a loss and feel fortunate to get out at that. I too have some nice papers declaring a company that is no longer...Check out Grossman Inc. Good Luck,

Bill.
