Barry, the share from pcs is dropping considerably since they folded their Inedible Universe and MacDuff Electronics subsidiaries due to lack of customers. The new deal with Compaq is one they expect to increase demand, but, the simple fact is, pcs are a marginal product now at Radio Shack. Tan used the old through everything in but the kitchen sink trick when they took the hit on their pc stores, so I wouldn't buy puts on them right now. Longer term, though, this is an overpriced stock is a competitive industry. True, for some electronics geeks, they are the only game in town, but I don't think they get enough of that sort of business to carry them to higher growth. That is the base and they need the pcs and new communications stuff to push their growth, and I doubt they'll get it. MB
