OXHP is indeed bouncing, but it's not, technically, a cat. A "signal day" for a PGDCEB (Post-Gap Dead-cat Exhaustion Bottom) occurs when the stock hits a new low after a gap-down day of 30% or more, on volume greater than the previous three days. Ideally, one wants the signal day to occur no less than three weeks after the gap-down day. OXHP last signaled on 12/29/97.
There's lots of other rules and definitions and disagreements to be had, many of which have already been defined and chewed over by the cat-fanciers of the thread.
