My sources at Greyhownd just told me that ALF-CIO national HQ is chartering buses all over the industrial heartland. Organizing mazzive rally on DC for this weekend to support nationalization of FBNA technology. Will save millions of jobs in the auto sector, teamsters, mining, etc. HQ sees chance to revitalize union movement in the US and restore political power. Wants to be behind the nationalization from the beginning. Conservatives in Congress are trying to get Saturday declared National Stay Home Cut Your Lawn/Teach Your Kids to Work Day to short circuit the rally. At least, that's the rumor up on the Hill.
