Good Morning Everyone, First, my apologies for not sending out the normal morning mail this morning. I was still fielding phone calls well after midnight last night and was also in the process of composing this letter. I have discussed this letter with many of the people that have contributed a lot of hard work, time and money to help others stay on top of things on the SI board. It pains me to see many of them (including myself) being attacked with various name calling and innuendos. I have met many people through this forum that I now consider very close friends and have had visits from many of them from all areas of the country. Many others I have talked to for over two years, and though I have not had the privilege of meeting them in person I too consider them to be very good friends. Many have asked me why I continue to get up at 4:00 a.m. and send out a tremendous amount of information on various issues concerning the stock market. The answer is very simple. I enjoy helping others. Only a handful know that I have battled colon cancer since 1985 and I feel very blessed that I am here to see my kids grow up and take care of my Dad. By trying to help others it is my simple way of saying thanks for my good fortune. I am very saddened that our thread on SI has gotten to the point of extreme degradation. I believe we had one of the very best threads on SI until certain individuals decided to suddenly appear with such vindictive attitudes and opinions and yet chose not to be a man and stand behind their convictions with a name or address. We have had hard questions asked in the past and they were always answered to the best of our ability. We never had a problem with that and we were happy to try and share our "due diligence" with these people. I draw the line when it becomes obvious that certain individuals are carrying a vendetta against the company and/or certain individuals. I absolutely refuse to participate in this type of forum as there is nothing to gain by getting in -issin' matches with these type of individuals. They refuse to do any real "due diligence" nor back up their accusations with facts. There are others that I completely disagree with at times but at least they have the courtesy to stand up to their convictions with a name and address. I respect this. I will continue to keep everyone informed through my E-Mail list. It has now grown to 330 as of 8:00 a.m. this morning. Everyone has an open invitation to be included on this list. I do not charge a fee and that is all I require is: FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, & E-MAIL ADDRESS. I will return like information in kind. You are also free to call me at any time. If other regular contributors that have always shared their "due dilgence" with us in the past decide to do likewise I will be sure to past their hard work on to my E-Mail group. Again, I am truly saddened by this turn of events as I really felt we did have the finest thread on SI until recently. I hope you can understand my reasoning.
