English is my third language, I apologize, and try to clarify the context.
I thought "using" and "trying" had different meanings. I considered clinical "tri"-als of a drug (before approval) "trying" and prescription use of a drug (e.g. after marketing approval by an ODAC oncologist) "using". Convincing drs to try a new drug (recruiting investigators for a Phase III study) or to use an approved medication in their pts (targeting them with ads in JAMA) have nothing to do with each other. I blame ads for teaching me the wrong language. "Try it, love it, use it" (was this a soap ad?).
Best regards,
