to answer your question.... the market makers m.m. did most of it...they were jumping over themselves to cover. why? i have a call into a big Wall street house stock loan dept. to see if there is a customer short or if it was just the m.m. who undoubtedly went home short last night around the $1 7/8 area. (thinking they would be able to cover cheaper in the a.m.) NOT !!!!!!! they had buyers of size this morning (mostly thread readers i think on marc c. vegas news) and realized they better cover or take a huge possible loss. additionally, there was not much stock for sale....everyone is holding the stock (thanks to b.g. d.d.) thus creating no selling for the m.m. looks like a buyer of size at 2 1/2 (you know who you are... sorry the m.m. screwed your ticket) with this ticket........not a chance of the m.m. hitting and bringing in paper and as a result they wanted (or possibly forced...will find out in a.m.) to cover by the close. thus resulting in $3+ p.s. we haven't even gotten any news...when this happens look out. my may 1 stock prediction looks conservative (see earlier posts) they will probably open this up at least 3 1/4 to 1/2 and then try to do the old HEAD FAKE...DO NOT SELL INTO THIS IT IS GOING HIGHER.
