>>a platform that they aren't even supporting...What is/was Sega Vision?

...good question...our initial reaction: ????? on the other hand Sega was/is stilll a major console factor with promises of huge things to come in 1999, and Sega and Microsoft are rumored to be up to something very big ref/
gamecenter.com time will tell...this is more exciting than anything to date but also cannot be implemented as anything TMSR has done in the past...this is PURE LEADING-EDGE IN YOUR FACE IMPULSE MARKETING (Mountain Dew, Mento's..) and TMSR has provided disappointing evidence that it possesses no ability in this area viz a viz thrustmaster.com for one.... tie-ins, x-merchandising, online internet multiplayer gaming site [contests] sponsorships, omnipresent [leading-edge] internet gaming sites banner ads, perhaps bundling 'way cool' baseball caps with each ThrustMaster product, ground-breaking leading-edge web implementations e.g. live (wo)manned [webjockey] Real-Media enabled ThrustMaster website ...will all be very important in making this....very simply, a fun long-term sustainable growth situation...it is a completely different situation, TMSRs most exciting, yet again, what is required is everything TMSR has failed to evidence it possesses, to date...and it must be whole hog, contrary to James Lin, Wedbush's take on the situation ref/ Oregonian..."...The Hillsboro company plans to make controllers for Sony Playstation and Nintendo video game systems to tap the vast market of the "youth of America"...Analyst James Lin of Wedbush Morgan Securities said ThrustMaster probably will launch a console version of its race-car wheel and game-pad PC controllers.

But he doesn't expect the company to enter the market full force.

"What I think you're going to see from them this year is a dabbling in this market," Lin said. "I don't think they're going to go whole hog..."
&copy 1998 Oregonian ...this article had the potential to be a KO yet Lin killed it...and simply, by definition, is not how to launch a Console division...TMSR finally tries to get some respect from the street...and the street (led by Wedbush's Lin) kills the momentum by broadcasting to the world the street has no confidence in TMSR...in black and white...hence no TMSR volume...no movement...no institutional buying?...
