. Intel is diversifying and will be in a lot of things besides microprocessors down the road in case you are worried about the chip business. - sonny

intel is already a diversified company that relies on other areas for revenue and growth such as nics, hubs, internet phone and video, and network mgt to name a few. granted chips are the bread and butter and will remain so.
